Input Presents Heidi

The Canadian DJ and producer, hugely respected by her peers and with a rock solid reputation in clubs around the world, will perform at Sónar for the first time. Heidi will take the controls control at a high point in the festival, Saturday night following the Justice concert at SonarClub. She is perfectly suited to the challenge: more than familiar with enormous and demanding audiences, Heidi knows exactly how to transport the crowd into a state of dance euphoria, thanks in large part to her extensive experience and her love and devotion to electronic dance music, which she has maintained ever since her formative years.

That passion led her to move to London in 2000, joining the team that opened the Phonica record shop in the British capital. Later came her show on BBC Radio1 and the beginning of the famous Jackathon parties, opened with two other women with whom Heidi shares a special affinity, Miss Kittin and Maya Jane Coles. Heidi inimitably combines a discerning taste for quality dance floor tracks, seamlessly mixing classic purebred house, advanced techno and dark electro with a touch of new wave.
