Stop At: Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, Carrer de Mallorca, 401, 08013 Barcelona Spain

The Basilica and Expiatory Temple of la Sagrada Familia is one of the most visited buildings in the world. Considered the Gaudi’s masterpiece, despite the construction of the church stared on the 1882 is still unfinished. We will visit its astonishing interior rich in symbolism, and with our guide you will discover how Gaudí got most of his inspiration from nature, considered by the architect the God’s masterpiece. As a result the building is a perfect fusion between architecture and spiritually. At the end of the tour you will be able to visit the museum, where there is an exhibition of drawings, plaster models and pictures about the history and development of this basilica from its early beginnings up to the present day. The museum will also give valuable information about Gaudí’s life and career.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Torre Bellesguard Antoni Gaudi, Bellesguard 16-20, 08022 Barcelona Spain

Torre Bellesguard is one of the most unknown buildings from Gaudí, also for local people! Was built between 1900 and 1909 following a rectilinear patron, something very unusual in his works. Gaudí got his inspiration from the medieval castle of Martin I the Humane, the last king of the Hause of Barcelona, who lived in Bellesguard till his dead, in 1410. That’s the reason why Gaudí uses medieval elements from the Gothic style mixed with modernist elements. You will enjoy the guided tour of this building surrounded by gardens with spectacular views of Barcelona and, with no queues! At the end of the visit you will have free time to enjoy the place by yourself. For those who choose the brunch option, a delicious brunch paired with wines will be served on the porch or at the beautiful surrounding gardens. Later we will take you back to the city center, near Plaça Catalunya.

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Julia's travel was on point. First toured the La Sagrada Familia and overwhelmed by the a architecture and history from a very informative lady. Sorry I can't remember her name, but she was great. Followed by even a more intimate private tour and wine tasting with tapas that Bellesguard. We were a party of (8) family and friends, have to say it was probably the highlight of our trip.

Our guide, Angela, was very good! It was obvious that she loved the basilica and knew all the little secrets and stories that it held within its walls. Bellesguard was also a lovely stop with not too many people, and our brunch was delicious!

This was not Viator's fault. I booked the tour for a Sunday, The schedule was 1st the Sagrada Familia at 9:00 AM and then Torres Bellesguard. 2 weeks before our trip, the Bisilica started saying mass at 9:00, so our tour could not start until after the mass was complete. the tour order was switched and when we arrived at the Bisilica, it was open to the general public and was swamped. Our guide was good, but she was short and our group had trouble keeping track of her in the crowd. My suggestion, take the tour, but don't book it on a Sunday.

Seeing La Sagrada Familia was a dream come true. It was more than I had even hoped it would be. Torres Bellesguard was a pleasant surprise. Our guide Fernando made the trip very special. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and fun. Fernando made the tour interesting and because of him, it was one of our favorite places in Spain.

We were supposed to see La Familia first to avoid the crowds. But the tour was flipped with out our permission and we ended going at 12:30pm in the heat of the day with the largest crowds. We did not get what we paid for.

What an amazing day. Angelina was the best guide!. She explained all the aspects of La Sagrada Familia and the magnificent work still being done. She spoke excellent English and was so alive in her actions. Then we went to Torres Bellesguard for a wonderful tour and light lunch. It was a very special tour.
