A spectacular day. We love the outdoors.... it was a toss up, deciding if was wanted the day to see more of Barcelona or a country activity instead. We liked the balance, of city sightseeing and then this perfect day biking though olive groves and vineyards. The innkeepers at Gemmenelles made us feel right at home and the meal was one of the best - and we've enjoyed fine food around the world! The bike ride through the countryside allowed us to see up close, the men harvesting olives! Our turn around point was at a winery where we walking with the vintner, as he told us something about his vineyard and his cava - we enjoyed everything about this day. We felt welcomed and Olaf, the driver of the van was charming and professional and we couldn't be happier with the outing!
