Private tour to Montserrat! The most complete tour, cog train & meal included!!

What a fantastic day amazing guide in Corina so helpful and informative and what can I say about Montserrat one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited absolutely memorable.

We were very pleased with our guide, Hannah. She answered every question we had about Montserrat and she knew all of shortcuts: how to time the cable car, manage the train, etc. After the tour, she gave us restaurant suggestions and hints about how to do the Barcelona attractions. She was an 11 on the 10-scale.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour to Montserrat with our great guide, Pau. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and a pleasure to tour with. Pau met the 4 of us at the meeting point and took us to the train station, where we boarded the train to Montserrat. (About an hour long train ride.). Next we rode the gondola up the mountain to Montserrat - great views and fun ride. Once up at the top, Pau did an excellent job of telling us the history of Montserrat and insuring we saw everything we wanted to see. He brought tasty ham and cheese sandwiches and water for our lunch. Once we had seen and done everything we were interested in, we rode the gondola and train, back to Barcelona. Glad we took this private tour. It was a lovely, relaxing and informative day.

The private tour to Montserrat was the high light of our week in Barcelona. Lola our tour guide was the absolute BEST!!!! Personable and knowledgeable. She had us go at our own pace and had answers to our questions. Be sure to ask for LOLA!

Our private tour to Monsterrat was easy-going and flexible with our friendly funny guide Pedro! He led us through via the trains very smoothly - tip to those booking - have your Whatsapp ready to be reached in case. Pedro also let us finish a mass in Monsterrat - we were thrilled to have had this experience. He asked us if we prefer mass or to finish the whole tour and we loved that we had this option. The sandwich prepared for us was also very good.

If Sebastian is your guide, you are 50% on your way to enjoying this worthwhile tour of Montserrat. Sebastian was comparable to a best friend with an abundance of knowledge for this tour and takes care of everything. We travelled by train, followed by cable car. The views are breathtaking and Monastery is beautiful, our guide timed our tour so we got to see and hear the boys choir also. Definitely one our favourite tours.

The tour guide was an hour late and showed up without anything indicating that he worked for Viator. Not professional! He was polite and knowledgeable though! We thought we’re getting a no show and the office then told me a different meeting place and wasn’t sure of what we should be looking for. Lunch was a warm homemade sandwich and bottle of water that was pulled out of a back pack after being hauled around for a number of hours. When I contacted Viator O couldn’t talk to anybody in a position to help us and had to wait for an email that I wasn’t allowed to respond to. Didn’t care that we’re unhappy, hard to believe that they’re running a customer service business. They’ve lost my business!!! Terrible don’t waste your money
