For price paid, we essentially got a driver for the day. Picked us up at hotel in Basel, then drove us to Lucerne where we teamed up with a local guide. At conclusion of local tour we were driven to Engelberg and pointed to cable car for ride to top. Driver spoke some English, did not understand English very well all questions answered by yes and he added absolutely nothing in terms of commentary along drives. We only learned from tour guide in Lucerne. Train to Lucerne with cog train ride up the alps would have been half the cost.
