Stop At: Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta, 6 The Close, Salisbury SP1 2EF England

After a short orientation walk you can explore the beautiful city of Salisbury independently and will discover a delightful array of shops, restaurants and cafes. Salisbury Cathedral boasts Britain’s tallest spire and 13th century chapter house exhibiting the finest of four original 1215 Magna Carta manuscripts.

Salisbury Cathedral cloister has an excellent refectory restaurant, serving reasonably priced home cooked food. One of our favourites is home-made scones with unlimited jam and cream.

Entrance to Salisbury Cathedral is by voluntary donation towards the upkeep of the cathedral.

I was really impress with the tour from the start to the end. Seeing the Stonehenge from the inner circle at sunset was breathtaking. Simon has a lot of knowledge regarding the history of Stonehenge. He makes you very excited to be there. Johnathan was our bus driver and he makes sure you are having a great time. A few tips: 1. When booking this tour just know that you are leaving from Bath or Salisbury and not from London. 2. Be okay walking.
