Stop At: Kerikeri River Track, Landing Road, Kerikeri New Zealand
The Kerikeri River track is easy walking for both adults and children passes through stands of young kauri, totara and associated native vegetation. As you walk along the track, you will pass the remains of the historic Kerikeri hydro-election station, built as part of the hydro-electric generation scheme that operated between 1930 and 1967. .

Stop At: The Stone Store & Kemp House - Kerikeri Mission Station, 246 Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri 0230 New Zealand
The track finishes at the Kerikeri Domain home to the Mission Station and the Stone store, New Zealand's oldest wooden and stone buildings. These are two significant buildings, "The Stone Store" built in 1832, originally used as a Missionary Society warehouse and the adjacent "Kemp House", New Zealand's oldest building completed in 1821/22 by missionary carpenters and Maori sawyers.

Stop At: Kawiti Caves, 49 Waiomio Road, Kawakawa 0210 New Zealand
Our next destination is the Kawiti Glowworm Caves where a local Maori guide will lead you through underground caverns to see the glow worms and tell you how the caves came to be found.
Your 30 minute guided tour will follow a wooden boardwalk (with handrails) through a 200 metre limestone cave system. Once inside, you will see thousands of glow worms spread across the ceiling surrounded by breath taking stalactites and stalagmites.
