About this activity

Paddle one way and walk the other. This is a great tour for those who want to stretch their legs on the beautiful Haruru Falls Walking Track, before enjoying our amazing Waterfall Discovery Tour. This track runs alongside the Waitangi River, offering glimpses of the impressive view through the native bush.

This walk takes you across picturesque bridges and along a boardwalk through a beautiful mangrove forest. This unguided walk is 5kms long with an approximate walking time of 1.5-2 hours. Allowing enough time to enjoy native New Zealand bush and wildlife at your pace before beginning your Waterfall Discovery Tour.

This tour takes approximately 4 hours and is suitable for beginners through to experienced paddlers. The walking track requires a medium level of fitness.

Includes: Complimentary local pick-up/drop-off service, free tour photos and free use of our sunscreen, dry bags and water pistols

Departs daily: 12:30 pm – Bookings essential

Min Passengers: 2
