We really appreciated the knowledge of our tour guide and felt she gave us much information and brought us to sites we never would have found on our own.

My wife and I took a Cdn sector tour with Normandy Sightseeing Tours. We were very pleased with the overall tour. Our guide Mathew did an excellent job at answering our questions and was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. We also had Mathew on the American sector tour and he did an excellent job there as well. The tour met all our expectations and would recommend it to anyone interested in the subject matter.

Our guide was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming and highly knowledgeable. This is a great tour for anyone but especially Canadians to see the sacrifices of those who fought for freedom.

Our tour was quite nice, our family of 4 was joined by 2 others making for a small group experience through the area. The guide started off a little rocky, she had little voice likely from the world cup a few days earlier and indicated she would wait to the beaches to share info. That made for a quiet 30 min ride to Juno beach. She then launched into the history which was a little abrupt but once she got her groove was informative, relaxed and a pleasure to spend the day with. We appreciated the guide, expecially to get to some of the smaller momuments dedicated to Canada's role. We explored Canada House, Juno beach, the museum on Juno beach, monuments in the area, Caen including the huge Abby one of the few things not destroyed in the war and a Canadian cemetary. We stopped mid day for lunch and the guide booked us a great table by the marina for fresh seafood yum and managed a guest who announced a significant food allergy as we pulled up all fish, seafood, ect really well. I think the knowledge and ability to get you to the smaller monuments made the guide really helpful. One could do Juno beach - Canada House, the museum and beach on their own but the other pieces were helpful with a guide. I wish we could have done a combo of Canada and US sites just to see both but its a full day for just Canada. Recommend you stay in Bayeaux - beautiful town untouched by the war with a great museum and cemetary in town as well as a huge catherdal, ancient tapestry and amazing places to eat and shop.

Exceptional trip! Very proud to call myself a Canadian and learn more about our history. I found the stop at the Juno Beach Centre a real highlight for me. Overall, well rounded day with a really good guide.
