This was our second day tour with Alexia and we were fortunate that there were no other clients but us. We started the day with a cellar wine tasting with cheese hosted by the very lively and passionate lady manager of a Santenay domaine. As on every occasion on this and the Small Group Cote de Nuits also with Alexia the wines sampled were of the best quality with many Premier and Grand Cru labels featured. We spent as much time visiting the wineries and learning about the different growing and harvesting methods as we did sampling great wines. I would highly recommend this tour and the sister tour Cote De Nuit of Burgundy. Both tours cover the entire range of interests from the most northerly to the most southerly of appelations in these two amazing regions.
