12-Day Small Group China Tour: Shanghai - Beijing - Xi'an - Guilin - Shanghai

Day1: Arrival in Shanghai

Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. We don't have any further arrangements for you today as you will finally return to Shanghai for a visit in this group tour before you leave China. The rest of the day is free for you. 

Overnight: Hotel Equatorial Shanghai (5 stars)

Day2: Shanghai - Beijing(B)

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and take a 5.5 hours high-speed train to Beijing. We will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the rest of the day.

Overnight: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5 stars)

Day3: Beijing (B+L)

Full day tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and a Chinese Kung Fu Show. A la carte lunch with Peking duck.

Day4: Beijing (B)

Visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Round way cable car is included. Driver by the Bird's Nest on the way back to downtown. Lunch is not included. At last, visit a local market.

Day5: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L)

Visit the Summer Palace and the traditional Hutong alleys including Chinese Paper cutting. A la carte lunch is served. Take an afternoon flight to Xian and check in the hotel.

Overnight: Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5-star)

Day6: Xi'an (B+L+D)

Full day tour to the Terracotta Army Museum, A special home cooked lunch at a local family, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the famous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show with the Dumpling Dinner. (Tips: the dance show is available from Apr. to Nov.)

Day7: Xi'an (B+L)

Observe local life in the park, One-hour Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, A la carte lunch, Provincial History Museum, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarter.

Day8: Xi'an - Guilin (B)

Take a flight to Guilin and visit the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Your guide in Guilin will help you check in the hotel.

Overnight: Sheraton Hotel (5-star)

Day9: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin (B+L)

Take a Li River cruise down from Guilin to Yangshuo. Lunch box is served on board. Disembark at about 14:00 and spend some time to visit the West Street and the Yangshuo rural area including a local farmer’s home. Then transfer you to Guilin.

Day10: Guilin - Shanghai (B)

Take a flight to Shanghai and check in the hotel with the guide's help.

Overnight: Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai (5 stars) or Similar

Day11: Shanghai (B+L)

Visit Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, its traditional bazaar, the former French Concession, the Bund and Huangpu River Cruise. A la carte farewell lunch is served. Upon escorting you back to the hotel, your guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.

Day12: Shanghai (B)

Airport drop-off is not included today. Please find your own way to the airport according to your flight schedule.
