16-Day Small-Group Tour: Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Chengdu, Chongqing, Yangtze River Cruise and Shanghai

Day 1: Beijing
Your guide will meet you at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 2: Beijing (B+L)
Visit Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and a Chinese Kung Fu Show. A la carte lunch with Peking duck.
Day 3: Beijing (B)
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall with roundtrip cable car, Bird's Nest (stopover for photo taking), a local market.
Overnight in Beijing: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5-star)
Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L)
Visit Summer Palace and Hutong alleys with Chinese Paper cutting experience. A la carte lunch. Fly to Xian and check in at the hotel.
Day 5: Xi'an (B+L+D)
Visit Terracotta Army, a local family with home-cooked lunch and Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (Tips: the show with dinner is available from Apr to Nov)
Day 6: Xi'an (B+L)
Observe local life in the park, One-hour Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, A la carte lunch, Provincial History Museum, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarter.
Overnight in Xi'an: Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5-star)
Day 7: Xi'an - Guilin (B)
Fly to Guilin and check in the hotel. Visit Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill.
Day 8: Guilin (B+L)
After big breakfast, take Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. Disembark at about 14:00 and spend some time at rural area of Yangshuo with stopover at a local farmer's home and visit the West Street. Transfer back to Guilin.
Overnight in Guilin: Sheraton Hotel (5-star)
Day 9: Guilin - Chengdu (B)
Fly to Chengdu and check in the hotel. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 10: Chengdu (B)
Visit Giant Panda Base, Broad and Narrow Alleys, Jinsha Site Museum, Leisure time at Renmin Park.
Overnight in Chengdu: Holiday Inn Oriental Plaza (4-star)
Day 11: Chengdu - Chongqing (B)
Morning is free on your own. Take a 2-hour bullet train to Chongqing. Your guide will meet and escort you to Jiefangbei CBD, Ci Qi Kou Ancient Village and then board the cruise ship, which sets sail at 21:30.
Day 12 - 13: Yangtze River Cruise (B+L+D)
Yangtze river cruise with shore excursion tours
Overnight: Century Diamond with balcony (5-stars)
Day 14: Yichang - Shanghai (B+L)
Check out and visit the Three Gorges Dam. Bus transfer to Three Gorges Tourist Center, where you will meet our guide. After lunch, visit Yichang Museum and fly to Shanghai and check in at the hotel.
Day 15: Shanghai (B+L)
Visit Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden and its traditional bazaar, A la carte farewell lunch, Former French Concession,the Bund, Huangpu River cruise. Your guide will say bon voyage upon returning the hotel.
Overnight in Shanghai: Crowne Plaza Century Park (5-star) or Similar
Day 16: Shanghai (B)
Airport drop-off is not included. Please make your way to the airport.
