2-Day Beijing Essence Tour with Badaling Great Wall and Top City Attractions

Day 1 Beijing (Lunch)

At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First we will drive to visit the ChanglingTomb, the tomb of the 2nd Emperor in the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di. It is regarded as the grandest one among the 13 Ming Tombs in Beijing. After lunch, we will move to visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. Today you will also pay a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks. After visiting, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Beijing city area.

Day 2 Beijing (Lunch)

At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest city square in the world. Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City. After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven. Located in southern part of Beijing, it serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Today’s last stop will be Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. Today you will also pay a visit to Chinese Herb Medicine Market to learn about traditional Chinese pharmacy and meet many kinds of herb medicine. After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel.
