2 Days Essential Beijing Private Tour With Great Wall And Forbidden City

Day 1 Beijing (L): 

In the morning, your private tour guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest city square in the world. The political center of China. Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). The largest and best preserved imperial palace in the world. There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City.

Lunch will be arranged in the local authentic food restaurant. After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven. Located in southern part of Beijing, it serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Today’s last stop will be Hongqiao Pearl Market for free shopping and bargaining. 

Optional: Acrobatic show or Kungfu show in the evening.

Day 2 Beijing (L):

Today, you will visit Mutianyu Great Wall in the morning. It's one of the seven wonders in the world. Mutianyu is about 80 kilometers away from the city center. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive there. Mutianyu Great Wall is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. 90% of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. You could take the cable car to the half way and then you can start to hike and enjoy the beauty of Great Wall and it's surrounding.

After the hiking, the lunch will be arranged at town, it is not a tourist restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Imperial Garden -The Summer Palace. There are many beautiful pavilions, bridges, corridors and temples. The famous Kunming Lake is there as well. On the way, you will pass by the Olympic park. Bird Nest and Water Cube are the stadiums of Beijing 2008 Olympic.
