2 Days Private Beijing Tour From Shanghai by Flight Without Hotel (No shopping)

Day 1 Shanghai – Beijing by Flight (Lunch)

In the morning, our driver in Shanghai will meet you in your hotel 2-3 hours before the flight departing. Upon your arrival in Beijing, our guide will meet you at terminal exit by holding the board with your name and then board the private car to start the tour.

Today we will visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall. The mountain slope is very steep and the roads are tortuous, which made it an important military stronghold in ancient time. The wall is like a strong dragon winding its way along the mountain ranges. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. On the way back to city area, we will make a stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube to pay an outer visit and take some pictures.

Day 2 Beijing – Shanghai by Flight (Lunch)

At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and i the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built with wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City.

After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven. Located in southern part of Beijing, it serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Today’s last stop will be Summer Palace. It locates at the west skirt of Beijing and covers an area of 290 hectare. In the Qing Dynasty during the Qianlong Era, the Summer Palace was built by copying the layout of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Now it is the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China.

After the tour you will be escorted to airport for flight back to Shanghai. Met by Shanghai driver and transfer back to your hotel in Shanghai downtown area.

We will book the flight departs Shanghai at around 07:30 on day 1 and flight departs Beijing at around 21:00 on day 2.

Forbidden city is closed on Mondays. We will adjust the visiting order if necessary. But we promise you will visit all the sites listed in itinerary.
