About this activity
Day 1: Meet the tour guide in the hotel lobby in the early morning. Get ready for the first attraction: Tiananmen Square. Tour the Tiananmen Square, which is noted as the largest public square in the world and then the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, which was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. We have an option for the special dinner, Peking Duck.

Optional Program 1: Peking Duck Dinner Banquet with Wine $35

Day 2: The Great Wall of China is one of the seven greatest man-made wonders of the world and is the focal point of China. You will hike along the Great Wall Juyongguan Pass (#16 of 1,617 things to do in Beijing), spend some free time on your own on the wall. We will stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade. In Chinese, Jade is pronounced as 'Yu', and it has a history in China for at least four thousand years. Later, visit Traditional Chinese Medicine Center after we return to the city. After the day tour, if you want to experience a traditional show, you can join in the optional program.

Optional Program 2: The Golden Mask Dynasty Show (#1 of 35 Concerts & Shows in Beijing per TripAdvisor)

Day 3: The Temple of Heaven will be the first attraction today. The Temple of Heaven was a place for emperors to worship the Heaven in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Being first built in 1420, it is the largest and most representative existing place among Chinese ancient sacrificial buildings. The we will go to visit the famous Hutongs to take the rickshaw tour. Hutongs are narrow alleyways formed by joining together courtyard residence, also are a glimpse – fast disappearing - of what the city used to look like before the skyscrapers started munching the skyline. After Lunch, your Beijing tour comes to the end.
