About this activity
Day 1 Beijing (Lunch)
At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square and then visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Today’s last stop will be Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. Today you will also pay a visit to Chinese Herb Medicine Market.

Day 2 Beijing (Lunch)
At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First we will drive to visit ChanglingTomb, the tomb of the 2nd Emperor in the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di. After then we will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. cable car is available and optional. Today you will also pay a visit to the Jade Carving Factory.

Day 3 Beijing – Shanghai by Bullet Train (Lunch)
In the morning the driver will escort you to Beijing train station for bullet train G5 (07:00-11:34) or similar train to Shanghai. Mt by Shanghai guide and driver. The first stop will be Yuyuan Garden. After that you will take a walk in Yuyuan Market. Then take a walk on Nanjing Road, the best known shopping street in Shanghai.

Day 4 Shanghai (Lunch)
Hotel pickup at 09:00. Then start the tour with Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. After that you will head to Xintiandi, a great place for leisure and amusement where you will meet rows of shops and bars transformed from Shikumen houses. Then you will pay a visit to the famous Oriental Pearl TV Tower. From the top of the tower, you will have a bird’s eye view of Shanghai City. At last wander in the Bund Area to have a look at the beautiful scenery of Pujiang River and its banks.

Day 5 Shanghai (Lunch)
In the morning we will drive for about 50 minutes to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town.The appearance of the town we see today was left from the Ming Dynasty. Nowadays the ancient town is best known for its bridges, old streets, and gardens built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The highlight things to see in the ancient town are: Fangsheng Bridge, Baoguo Temple, Town God’s Temple, and Zhuxi Garden. At about 14:00 you will be escorted back to hotel.
