About this activity
Day 1 Beijing Arrival (No meal)

Beijing airport / train station pickup and hotel drop off by guide & driver. Please look for the board with your name at exit.

Day 2 Beijing (Lunch)

At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing. Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). After lunch, pay a visit to Temple of Heaven where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Then you take a rickshaw to explore Hutong and see the daily life of local people. Today you will also pay a visit to Chinese Herb Medicine Market to learn about traditional Chinese pharmacy and meet many kinds of herb medicine.

Day 3 Beijing (Lunch)

Hotel pickup at 08:00. Today’s first stop is Changling Tomb which is regarded as the grandest one among the 13 Ming Tombs in Beijing. After lunch, we will move to visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. Today you will also pay a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks.

Day 4 Beijing (Lunch)

After hotel pickup at 08:00, you will firstly pay a visit to Panda House in Beijing Zoo to see the lovely pandas. The next place to visit will be Yonghe Palace (The Lama Temple). Here is the birth place of the Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. And later it was transformed into a Buddhist temple. Then you will visit the Confucius Temple which was built in 1302 in memory of the great educationist Confucius. At last you will pay a visit to Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. Today you will also pay a visit to Pearl Market to appreciate some delicate pearl artworks.

Day 5 Beijing Departure (No meal)

Hotel pickup and airport / train station drop off by guide and driver. Advised hotel pickup time:

 International flight – 4-4.5 hours before the flight departure

Domestic flight – 3-3.5 hours before the flight departure

Train – 1.5-2 hours before the train departure.
