Day 1: Airport Pickup

Pass By: Beijing Capital International Airport, Shunyi, Beijing, China
Upon your arrival, you will meet your tour guide and driver outside the baggage claim area at the airport. After a short greeting, you will be escorted to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 2: Beijing Highlights Tour Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and the Mutianyu Great Wall

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
In the morning, you tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel. Then, come to Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. It is also a place to honor the birth of new China and those people who had great contributions to this republic country. If you have more interest to this scenic spot, you can get a further introduction from your knowledgeable guide.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
Walk to the northernmost part of the square, and you will see the Forbidden City. Used to be a palace for 24 emperors, it has immense scale and distinctive building characteristics. Getting the knowledge from your guide about the long history of this best preserved imperial palace, you will have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.

Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Road, Huairou District, Beijing China
In the afternoon, you will leave for the Mutianyu Great Wall with the company of your guide and driver. A round-trip cable car is included so that you can save more time on the Wall. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory.

Day 3: Self-guided Day to Explore Beijing with Following Expert Advice

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
Temple of Heaven is a good place to spend an interesting morning. It was the place the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties holding the sacrificial ceremony. You can enjoy the stunning structure and spend time meandering through the groups of local people doing Tai Chi, dancing, doing excises, or watch a game of mahjong, or just enjoy the serenity.

Then the beautiful Summer Palace is recommended. It was the summer resort for the ancient royal families, now it is a huge and distinctive park. You will have time to enjoy the stunning view of the old buildings, large lake, long corridors, bridges, gardens, etc. Or you can take a boat ride along the lake.

Hutongs are narrow alleys lined with residential courtyards. It is one of the features of Beijing. Most of them are several hundred years old. You are suggested taking a rickshaw ride around the old narrow Hutongs and feel the old ambiance of Beijing.

Day 4: Self-guided Day with Overnight Soft Sleeper Train to Xi'an

Stop At: Beijing Zoo, No.137 Xizhimenwai Main Street, Xicheng District, Beijing 100044 China
It will be a great experience to see pandas when travelling in China. You can go to the panda house in Beijing Zoo to see those lovely creatures. You will see many pandas, young and old, some active and some lazy.

Beihai Park is a very large and beautiful park. Centrally located in this busy city, this park is a haven of tranquility. There are also lots of great photo opportunities.

Stop At: Lama Temple (Yonghegong), No.12 Yonghegong Street, Beixinqiao, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100007 China
After that, you are recommended to visit a unique Tibetan styled temple - Lama Temple (Yonghe Lamasery). With more than 300 years history, the buildings of the temple have been kept in good condition. Although there are many prayers and tourists every day, the peace of this temple can be palpable.

Stop At: Beijing West Railway Station, No.118, Lian Hua Chi East Rd Fengtai District, Beijing 100036 China
Please go to the Beijing West Railway Station at least 1.5 hours ahead of the schedule and board the overnight soft sleeper train to Xi'an by yourself. The train ticket will be issued and delivered to the hotel in advance.

You are suggested going to a super market or a cake store to buy some food for dinner and the breakfast for the next day. The train has food sold to passengers but with low quality and taste.

Day 5: Railway Station Pickup, Terracotta Army, Small Wild Goose Pagoda & City Wall

Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi'an 710600 China
You will arrive in Xi'an in the morning. Your local guide and driver will meet you at the railway station and help you check in the hotel.

After a short rest at the hotel, you will visit the world-wonder Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. In the museum, there are altogether three excavated pits exhibiting amazing warrior figures, horses, chariots and Chinese ancient weapons. You will have no less than 2-hour visit in this site.

In the afternoon, you will visit Xi'an Museum and then the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built about 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from ancient India.

Stop At: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi'an 710001 China
Continue your tour to the City Wall. You will have a panoramic view of the old city area when you are standing on the wall. Meanwhile, you may see the local people doing recreational activities at the City Wall Park. If you want to enjoy riding on the wall, you can rent a bike but the rental fee is at your own expense. Afterwards, you will be escorted back to the hotel.

Day 6: Leave Xi'an by yourself with Expert Advice

Stop At: Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, Weicheng, Xianyang, Shaanxi, China
This day is still free for you to arrange. Please check out the hotel before 12:00 and go to the airport by yourself.

If your onward flight leaves in the afternoon, you are suggested having a morning tour of Xi'an downtown. Please check the following expert advice.

Stop At: Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta), Enci Temple The southern part of Yata Road, Yanta District, Xi'an 710061 China
The 64.5-meter-high (211.6 feet) pagoda is located in the Da Ci'en Temple. It was built in the Tang Dynasty (about 1,300 years ago) to house the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back form India. There are many featured squares and gardens around the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and temple, which provides the locals and tourists with wonderful resorts for free.

Muslim Bazaar is the most thriving area of the city. You will find lots of mouthwatering local snacks and interesting souvenirs. The Great Mosque and the Bell and Drum Tower Square are within walking distance of the Bazaar.
