9-Day Small-Group China Tour: Beijing - Xi'an - Guilin - Yangshuo, No Shops

Day 1: Beijing

Your guide will meet you at the Beijing Airport and transfer you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to relax.

Overnight: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5 stars)- the former Sheraton

Day 2: Beijing (B+L)

Full day tour to Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and a Chinese Kung Fu Show. A la carte lunch will be served.

Day 3: Beijing (B)

In the morning, visit the Great Wall at Badaling and a jade factory.

Lunch is on your own arrangement, and then you go to the Sacred Way. Round off the day seeing Beijing's impressive Bird's Nest on the way back to your hotel.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L)

Visit the Summer Palace, a pearl store and the traditional Hutong alleys. A la carte lunch is served. Then, take an afternoon flight to Xi'an and check in at your hotel.

Overnight: Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5-star)

Day 5: Xi'an (B+L+D)

Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. After that, you will head to a pottery-making factory. Following your visit to the factory, you will have a special home cooked lunch prepared by a local family, and then will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Finally, you will enjoy the famous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show with a dumpling dinner.

Please note, the dance show is closed January, February, March and December. For these months, you instead will have a free night to browse around the city.

Day 6: Xi'an (B+L)

Full day visit to the City Wall, the Provincial History Museum and the Great Mosque. In addition, you will have some free time at the lively Muslim bazaar. A la carte lunch will be served.

Day 7: Xi'an - Guilin (B)

First, you will board a flight to Guilin. In Guilin, you will visit the Reed Flute Cave. Your guide in Guilin will help you check in at your hotel.

Overnight: Sheraton Hotel (5-star)

Day 8: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin (B+L)

You will start the day by taking the Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo (in the morning, enjoy a big breakfast at your hotel as the lunch options on the river cruise can be limited). At 2pm you will arrive in Yangshou and will then spend some time visiting the rural areas of Yangshuo and will have a stopover at a local farmer’s home. After that you will be transferred back to Guilin and will visit Elephant Trunk Hill.

Day 9: Guilin (B)

You tour concludes on this day. Please find your own way to the airport according to your flight schedule.
