Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Pickup

Pass By: Beijing Capital International Airport, Shunyi, Beijing, China
Your professional local guide will meet you at Beijing Airport after reclaiming your luggage and clearing customs. Your driver will take you in a comfortable vehicle to the hotel and help you with the check-in procedure. The rest of the day is left for you to have a good rest or to become familiar with our capital city on your own.

Day 2: Tiananmen, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, & Kung Fu Show

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
This morning, your tour guide will pick up you at the hotel and take you to visit Tiananmen Square. You will see what the biggest urban city square in the world looks like.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
From the Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures.

At noon, an a la carte welcome lunch will be served at a superb local restaurant, where you can have a taste of authentic Chinese food and the most famous Peking Roast Duck.

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
In the afternoon, you will see the Temple of Heaven with its unique architectures, where the emperors worshiped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.

Stop At: Red Theatre Beijing Kung Fu Show, No.44 Xingfu Street, Dongcheng District 50 Meters East of Tiantan Hotel, Beijing 100061 China
To round out a memorable start to your travel, we will arrange a lively and dramatic Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater.

Day 3: China Great Wall Tour

Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Road, Huairou District, Beijing China
This morning you will be taken to Mutianyu Great Wall to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. The round-trip cable car will be arranged. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory. To celebrate and commemorate this moment, we specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall.

Pass By: Niaochao National Stadium, No.1 Guojia Tiyuchang South Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing China
In the afternoon, on the way back you will have a photo stop at the Olympic National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest. After that, enjoy some free time to explore a popular local market.

Day 4: Summer Palace, Hutong Tour, Beijing to Xi'an by Plane

Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China
The first stop of today's itinerary is the Summer Palace - the largest existing imperial garden with a graceful landscape and magnificent constructions.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Hutong Tour, No.9, Zhonglou, Dongcheng District No.9, Zhonglou, Dongcheng District, 100009, Beijing, Beijing 100009 China
Then a trip to the old Hutongs will conclude your memorable Beijing tour. Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture. You will also have a chance to try your hand at Chinese Paper Cutting.

Around noon you will enjoy your a la carte lunch at a fancy restaurant with delicious food and great atmosphere.

After that, transfer you to the airport and you will fly to Xi'an. Upon your arrival, your local guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel downtown.

Day 5: Terracotta Army, Local Family Visit, Ancient Pagoda & Tang Dynasty Dancing Show

Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi'an 710600 China
The visit to the magnificent Terracotta Army will start your day's trip. In the museum, there are altogether three excavated pits exhibiting amazing warrior figures and Chinese ancient weapons.

At noon, you will have a chance to visit a local family and enjoy a big meal. What's more, you can join in the process of cooking if interested.

Stop At: Small Goose Pagoda, No.72 Youyi Road, Beilin District, Xi'an 710068 China
After that, you will visit Xi'an Museum and then the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built about 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from ancient India.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tang Dynasty Show, 75 North Chang'an Road, Xi'an 710065 China
A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show while partaking of the famous Dumpling Dinner.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Day 6: Xi'an - Lhasa by Plane

Pass By: Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, Weicheng, Xianyang, Shaanxi, China
Today you will say goodbye to your Xi'an guide at the airport and take a morning flight to the capital city of the mysterious Tibet - Lhasa.

Located in the middle of Tibet Plateau, it is an ancient city having 1,300 years of history. With an altitude of 3,650 meters, Lhasa is one of the highest cities in the world. Upon your arrival, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel, where you can take time to acclimate yourself to the high altitude.

Day 7: Norbulingka Park, Sera Monastery, Viewing Platform of Yaowang Hill

Stop At: Norbulingka (Precious Stone Garden), No.21 Luobulinka Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Your guide and driver will pick up you at the hotel and take you to visit the Norbulingka Park, which means "Treasure Park" in Tibetan. It is the summer palace of Dalai Lama. It is the largest garden with the most beautiful scenery and has been changed into a park.

The Sera Monastery is one of the three largest monasteries in Tibet. Colorful debates on Buddhist doctrines are held here and these employ a style distinctive from those at Lhasa's other famous monasteries.

Stop At: Yaowang Mountain of Lhasa, Right of Potala Palace, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
When you get to the Viewing Platform of Yaowang Hill, you can appreciate the grand appearance of Potala Palace and the street sceneries of Lhasa from a different angle.

Day 8: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, A Nunnery

In the morning, you will visit the world famous Potala Palace. As the former winter palace of Dalai Lama, it was the governmental center of unity of politics and religions in Tibet. It can be called a palace of art because it stores tremendous treasures and works of art.

Stop At: Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Located in the old part of the city, it is a monastery with a history of 1,350 years. It is the most glorious existing building established in Tubo times and the oldest existing civil structure.

Wandering along Barkhor Street, a gathering area of Tibetan religion, culture and local handicrafts, you will witness the original view of this city and its people, and you can also buy simple gifts as souvenirs.

Stop At: Ani Tsankhung Nunnery, Barkhor Street,Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
The last stop you will visit today is a Nunnery, where you can see the normal daily life of nuns living there.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 9: Lhasa Airport See-off
