Meet up your expert private guide in the morning, and depart from your Beijing hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to start your 2-day comprehensive tour:

Day 1: Beijing City Highlights (L) Explore all the top highlights of Beijing, such as Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, rickshaw ride and family visit in the hutongs.

First take you to Temple of Heaven, where the emperor prayed for good harvests in Ming and Qiang Dynasty, the local people do all kinds of morning exercises there in modern days.

Followed by a delicious Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue to visit Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest city center square. Explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take some great photos. Then visit the magnificent Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. We can spend a couple of hours wandering around the amazing imperial architecture and learn about the history and stories of the palace.

Take a pedicab ride through the old hutong areas. Your trip will include a visit to a local family’s house to see their daily life.

After your tour is finished, you will be drop-off at your Beijing hotel.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace (L) 1.5 to 2 hours drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu is listed as the No.1 tourists attractions in Beijing. It is less crowded, but famous for the beautiful scenery all year around. You will have your choice of taking cable car or chairlift up the breathtaking wall. Then you can decide to hike up and down the wall for 1-2 hours OR spend some flexible time to just enjoy the beautiful scenery and take amazing photos with this ancient wonder. You then have the option of a toboggan ride back down.

You can choose to have a delicious Chinese lunch near the wall or near the Summer Palace.

Continue to the Summer Palace where the emperors spent their summer vacations in the Qing Dynasty. It is the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China. You can spend 1-2 hours there depending how much time you spend at the great wall.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your Beijing Hotel.
