About this activity

• Be picked up from your hotel in downtown Beijing between 7:00am to 7:40am
• Drive 1.5 hours to the Ming Tomb (50 miles away from downtown), one of the most well-preserved Imperial tombs, visit Changling, the largest one, Emperor Yongle's Tomb, for about 1.5 hours
• Drive to the restaurant and enjoy a typical Chinese lunch (1.5 hours). Then visit a jade museum for souvenirs (40mins).
• Drive to the Great Wall of China, hike on the most famous part of the Great Wall, Badaling section (for about 2-3 hours), you can choose to hike or take a cable car. (Note: Cable car is optional with extra cost.)
• Before drop off to your hotel, you will visit a tea house to watch a tea ceremony (30 minutes)

Our trip to the great wall was fantastic. Haha is the best tour guide anybody can ask for. The information she gave us was extremely informative and we learned a tremendous amount of new information about their culture. The transport was comfortable , the planning of the day activities was excellent. We enjoyed this trip and would highly recommend this to anybody. But my suggestion would be to make sure you get Haha as the guide and she is excellent and knows the history of the Chinese culture off by heart. A wonderful day out!
