Stop At: Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling), Ming Shisan Ling Area, Changling Town, Changping District, Beijing 102213 China

At around 7:00 am, your English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing to start the tour. And then drive to Ming Tombs (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving).

The first spot is the Ming Tombs, where 14 of 16 emperors of the Ming Dynasty about 500 years ago were buried. You will visit the Changling Tomb, the head and the largest of the excavated burial site at Ming Tombs. The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour.
The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45. Before having authentic Chinese lunch (11:30 am), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit ofto a renowned jade factory outlet, where the process of carving the jade and an array of quality jade products are demonstrated.

Stop At: The Great Wall at Badaling, Badaling, Beijing 102112 China

Having traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.
On the way to hotels, you will have a chance to enjoy Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony, and buy some Chinese traditional tea if you like. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels.

Very nice trip. And very cheap! 1 h visiting Ming Tombs, 1 h Jade Factory, 2 h at the Great Wall. About 12 h in total. Very nice and talkative guide. Only the essential information about China and the sites we visited.

We were a bit rushed and the guide's English was not great - would have liked more time at the Wall and less in the Jade shop and Tea shop!!

The tour at this price is well worth it! I truly enjoyed myself! The tour guide was a tad bit late in picking me up but the remainder of the trip made up for it. The tombs were beautiful and well preserved and the Great Wall lived up to its expectations! However... I do warn that you should NOT visit these places if visiting in the summertime in China. It felt like all 2 billion Chinese residents were at the Great Wall at the same time!
