Day1: Beijing (D)

Your private guide will meet you in your hotel lobby by 9am. Your first stop is the Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city center plaza and the place where Chairman Mao announced the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Your guide will point out highlights of the square as you walk to the UNESCO-listed Forbidden City, home to China's emperors for almost five centuries, and the best-preserved imperial palace in China. Explore the highlights of its halls, galleries, museums, and gardens as you learn how Chinese emperors and their households lived. (only entrance ticket included)

Lunch at your own expense, the guide will happily recommend you nice restaurants according to your preference.

Next, you will be transferred to the Lama Temple, the most famous Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. Built as an imperial palace, it became a lamasery in 1744 and is home to stunning Buddha sculptures, including one supposedly carved from a single piece of sandalwood. Here you will see the world largest wooden sculpture of Sakyamuni. It is 26meters high.

Then you will drive to Yinding Bridge and take walk through historic hutong nearby, narrow alleyways lined with low courtyard houses. (rickshaw included ).

From here, you'll drive back to your hotel. 

 Day 2: Beijing (-)

Your private guide and personal driver will meet you in your hotel lobby by 8am.

Today you will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu’s 2.5 kilometer stretch of the Wall allows you to walk for more than an hour as you explore 22 watchtowers and the valley on both sides of the Wall. The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644), on the remnants of a Wall originally built in the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577). Reconstruction took place in Ming Dynasty. There are abundant natural springs which feed a great variety of plants and trees. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered by trees and orchards, keeping the air fragrant with chestnut blossoms in the spring and fresh all year long. (cable car not included)

Return to the city and you will be taken to the Red Theater to enjoy the Shaolin Kung Fu Show. (included A class seats, in Row 5/6/11/12)

Shaolin is considered to be the birthplace of Chinese Kung Fu. This show combines Kung Fu moves with acrobatics and offers audience an unforgettable experience, which is also a great way to get to know China's ancient culture.

At the end of the show, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel.
