First we will visit the National Museum of China, that focuses on the History and Arts of China. This four floors building stretches across two wings, running more than 300 meters north and south along the eastern side of Tian’anmen Square.In the past, there were two museums: The Museum of Chinese History and the Museum of the Chinese Revolution. The Museum of the Chinese Revolution emphasized the history of the past 150 years, in particular the history of the Communist Party of China. The Museum of Chinese History focused more on early history, taking you through the dynasties that have reigned these lands.

Then we’ll take you to the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, designed to introduce the long urban planning history of Beijing, as well as its water and natural resource situation.One of the floors is an awesome exhibit showing most of central Beijing in miniature format. Here, you can walk around and see if you can spot the biggest sites like Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Olympic Park with the Bird’s Nest.
