8-Day Private Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai Tour for First Time Traveling to China
Day 1 Arrival, Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, your personal tour guide will pick you up from Beijing Capital International Airport. Later, transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B, L)
Around 9:00am, your guide come to the hotel to pick you up and then drive to Tianmen Square. Cross the square and enter into the Forbidden City (closed on Mondays), which was used to be the emperors’ home about 600 years. After lunch, have a glance in a pearl store, and then enjoy a leisure walking in hutongs. Besides, you can get a special experience by facial-up of Peaking Opera on a paper mask.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)
Begin today’s tour in Temple of Heaven. The locals often do morning exercise at there. If interested, you could join and do with them together. Next is the majestic Great Wall in Mutianyu section (with cable car up and down) . Strolling on the historic massive stone ramparts, you will gaze at the incredible constructions and landscape surrounding it.
Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an (B, L)
Today you will view Summer Palace - the famous imperial gardens in China history. If weather permits, you could enjoy a boat cruise on Kunming Lake. After that, experience high-speed train to Xi'an. The local guide will welcome you at the railway station and transfer you to hotel.
Day 5 Xi'an (B, L)
Today will be a memorable day for you as you will unravel the mystery of Terracotta Warriors. Surely, you will gaze in awe at the thousands of life-size clay statues. Return to the city, and move to the ancient City Wall and a jade gallery.
Day 6 Xian-Shanghai (B, L)
Before flying to Shanghai, enjoy a leisure walking through Muslim Street, next to Shanxi History Museum to witness the thousands of unearthed historical relics. When arrive in Shanghai, the local guide & driver will transfer you to your hotel.
Day 7 Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, the guide will join you to view highlights of this modern city: Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market, a silk workshop. After lunch, tour to the Bund and former French Concession, and ends today’s tour with a panoramic view from the 100th floor of Shanghai World Financial Center.

Day 8 Shanghai Departure (B)
Enjoy your leisure time until your personal driver transfers you to the airport for your departure flight.
