Day 1: Arrive in Beijing and check into the hotel

Pass By: JinJiang Inn - Beijing Guangqumen Inn
Once you arrive in Beijing, please go to the hotel we booked for you by yourself.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall Tour

Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Beijing
Your tour guide will pick up you at the hotel lobby and take you to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. You can take the cable car or the slide way at your own expense.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Niaochao National Stadium, Beijing
On the way back to downtown, make a stopover at the main venue of 2008 Olympic Games - the National Stadium.

Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), Beijing
Then you are going to visit the Summer Palace. It is a large-scale landscape garden built with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as its base sites. It is also the best preserved royal garden in China.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 3: Beijing - Xi'an by overnight train

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), Beijing
This morning, you will visit Tiananmen Square and see what the biggest urban city square in the world looks like.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, Beijing
From the Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Hutong Tour, Beijing
Then a trip to the old Hutongs will conclude your memorable Beijing tour. Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Beijing
Later, you will see the Temple of Heaven with its unique architectures, where the emperors worshiped the heavens in hopes of good harvests. After the visit, the guide will escort you to the railway station and assist you to take the overnight train to Xi'an.

Day 4: Xi'an Highlights

Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Xi'an, Shaanxi
Upon your arrival at Xi'an Railway Station at around 08:00, your tour guide will pick you up and then escort you to visit the Terracotta Army. It is a large underground army made up of terra cotta chariots, war horses and soldiers to protect Qin Shihuang, China's first emperor in his afterlife.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Small Goose Pagoda, Xi'an, Shaanxi
In the afternoon, you will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built about 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from ancient India.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Xi'an, Shaanxi
After that, you will pay a visit to the City Wall. It is the most complete existing urban fortification in China. Cycling on the ancient wall is an exciting experience that many people like to try (bike rental fee is not included).

Day 5: Xi'an - Shanghai by overnight train

Pass By: Muslim Quarter, Xi'an, Shaanxi
This morning is left for you to explore the ancient Xi'an on your own. The hotel is in downtown area within walking distance of Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Muslim Quarter. You can have an explore tour there to appreciate the ancient buildings, taste local snacks and learn the customs of Muslims.
The guide will be waiting for you at the hotel at 14:00 and then escort you to Xi'an Railway Station and help you board the overnight train to Shanghai.

Day 6: Shanghai Highlights

Stop At: Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan), Shanghai
You will arrive in Shanghai at about 08:00, and the tour guide will be there on time to pick you up for a full day Shanghai tour.
The guide will accompany you to visit Shanghai Museum, a large-scale art museum with nearly a million pieces of cultural relics, featuring bronze wares, ceramics, calligraphies and paintings.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Yu Garden (Yuyuan), Shanghai
Yu Garden is one of the most famous classic gardens in Yangtze River Delta, and then wonder around at Yuyuan Bazaar for a while.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road), Shanghai
You will walk through the prosperous Nanjing Road to reach the Bund.

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Shanghai
Standing on the Bund, you can also appreciate the skyscrapers across the Huangpu River. After the tour, the guide will help you check in the hotel.

Day 7: Leave Shanghai by yourself

Pass By: Shanghai Pudong International Airport
Please check out before 12: 00 and head to the airport by yourself. Considering your luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi to the airport. It costs about CNY200 per cab.
