Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China

Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel in Beijing city centre. You will depart to visit the first destination of the day: the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is a massive temple complex featuring a series of Taoist building, that was often visited by Ming and Qing emperors. This UNESCO site contains the famous Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.

Stop At: Qianmen Main Street Mall, Qianmen Main Street, Beijing China

Next you will visit Qianmen Street, initially built in Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). The street was dotted with guild halls built by different localities, to provide housing to citizens from other parts of China intending to take the imperial exams. The present Qianmen Street has been rebuilt on the historical photos and the mould of the 1920s to 1930s, now is the most famous pedestrian street of Beijing. Here you will have free time for lunch. Your guide will recommend you some options and you can choose your favourite, as meals are not included.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China

After lunch, you will continue to visit the biggest city-center square in the world: Tiananmen Square. On the north side of this iconic spot, you will access the Forbidden City. This Palace was the Imperial residence during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and supposedly contains 9999.5 rooms, because only heaven could have 10,000 rooms.

Stop At: Bell and Drum Towers, Di'anmen Wai Main Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China

Next visit is the Drum Tower, located next to the Bell Tower. These ancient monuments used to dominate Beijing's ancient skyline.

Stop At: Shichahai Scenic Resort, Yangfang Lane, Xicheng District, Beijing 100009 China

The final destination of the day is Shichahai, a famous scenic area which includes three lakes surrounded by places of historic interest and scenic beauty, as well as remnants of old-style local residences, hutong alleys and courtyards. After this, you will get free time for dinner, also not included in the price. Your guide will recommend you some spots and when you finish, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
