About this activity
Normally, Pick up at hotel lobby at 9:00 am - 10am. We could advise reasonable starting time base on your request.Guide will meet you in hotel lobby. By taxi or subway based on your hotel address ( On you side ) 

First stop , Drum Tower and Bell Tower, Climb to the top of the towers for a panoramic view over the ancient city and wonder around the Hutongs around the Drum Tower .Walk around the Hutongs surrounding the drum tower to better understand local people's life. We may spend here about 1 hour.

Then will walk around 15 minuets to Nanluoguxiang South entrance . Nanluoguxiang, also named South Luogu alley which is one of the oldest alleyways in Beijing. . 800-meter long North-South alleyway with 30+ hip cafes, delicious restaurants, stylish clothing, and authentic handicraft shops. So imagine the alley also very crowded. 

After we out of the tourist Hutong, we would walk along the ancient city wall ruins park . It is rectangles park along the road and residence for local people. We would walk through the park to Non - tourist Hutong area. Beijing many Hutongs area, some of them is famous for tourists, some of them only for local residences living. To feel real normal life for local people , you have to go local residence living area Hutong, you probably could not feel the real life in the short time, but we could show you some real life of local people in Beijing .

The end we will visit a local market nearby the Hutong area.Chinese people believe freshness is the soul of a dish, so they buy fresh food every day, and it has become a part of the daily routine for many. It is interesting to find that most of customers in the market are of the older generation, and they are happy to prepare lunch or dinner for their children or grandchildren. Visit the market and find insight into the Chinese family philosophy.

After the local market visiting , you could have lunch in a local restaurant . After lunch ,your guide could help you get a taxi which take you back hotel or any place you need to go.
