Day 1 Beijing to Xian
Hotel pickup at 06:30. Transfer to Beijing West Railway Station. Use your passport to redeem your tickets (Beijing West to Xian North, Xian North to Huanshan North, Huashan North to Beijing West). Take train to Xian G653 (08:05-13:43). Meet with your tour guide and start your afternoon exploration.
First, stroll on imposing Xian Ancient City Wall, the best-preserved city wall in the world. Cycling around which take about 30 minutes is also popular among visitors. Then move on to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, enjoy quality time in Da En’ci Temple where the pagoda is situated. With just a little extra pay, ascend to the top of the pagoda for high up views of the city.
Later, pay a visit to Xian Great Mosque. This largest mosque in local Muslim community is time-honored as a religious and architecture heritage. In vicinity you will find Xian Drum and Bell Tower as functional building in the past and city landmark today. From Drum Tower you can walk to Muslim Quarter, a live museum of Muslim custom which was immigrated along the ancient Silk Road.
At around 6:00PM, you will be transported to your hotel Citadines Central Xian.
Day 2 Xian
Hotel pickup, proceed to Banpo Neolithic Village three miles from downtown Xian. This archaeological site exhibits a large amount of artifacts and relics of the Neolithic settlement.
Then you will be on to Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the most profound excavation of the 20th century. Within the vast underground ditch are life-size terracotta figures of soldiers in Qin Dynasty. Numerous visitors from home and abroad have been drawn to visit as it showcases kingdom’s authority and funeral arts. In Terra-Cotta Replication Factory, the whole flow of making miniature terracotta soldier figures are displayed. Finished products are available for sale as souvenirs.
Transfer back to your hotel by 5:30 pm.
Day 3 Mount Huashan
Hotel pickup and transfer to railway station, board the train G2002 (08:07-08:37).
Free time in Mount Huashan, no tour guide service for today. Later in the afternoon, you need to take a taxi by yourself to Huanshan North Raiway Station. Then take train G670 (18:35-23:29) back to Beijing.

Trail up Mount Huashan is well known for its narrow plank roads near cliff edge, which constitute a considerably dangerous but challenging trail. Lush forests, crystal water and spring, perpetual sea of clouds, the rewarding views visitors could harvest on the peak is worth every effort to conquer your scare.
I recommend you to take cable car to North Peak, then walk to South Peak. 4 hours round trip. Take cable car down the mountain.
