It is a royal temple where the Emperors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties worshiped Heaven and prayed for good harvest. there you can see the altar building complex. visit one of four exhibitions to learn about the sacrificial rituals. try three well-known acoustic phenomena in the temple. The temple is also a big park. local people conduct all kinds of social activities and do exercise. There you can see the lifestyle of the retired Chinese people.

the Imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. 24 emperors lived and worked there between 1421 and 1912. there you can see the places for emperors to give audience to the ministers in the early morning, the place to hold grand celebration and living quarters for emperors and their families. You can also visit some royal collections exhibition.

Shichahai Hutong area is a traditional living area for indigenous people. You will have a walk along the lake shore of Qianhai and Houhai, Bell and Drum Tower and the alleyways in the living area. experience the traditional lifestyle of the change of the city.
