Mutianyu Great Wall and Ming Tomb Day Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel between 7:00am and 7:30am, and then drive to the Ming Tombs (Dingling)---the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 600 years history. Dingling is the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wan Li. The Underground Palace Halls, a labyrinth palace building, were the first royal tomb excavated in accordance with plan in China. At around 11:00, before having Chinese traditional lunch (11:30), you will pay a short visit to a local Jade Carving Factory. It is not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes some traditional Chinese culture.

After lunch, drive about 1 hour to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. You can hike toward either east or west from the highest tower. A cable car can take you from the foot of the mountain up to the top within 20 minutes. The cost for cable car is not included. 

Finally, you will return to the downtown and have a chance to discover Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony. The full day tour will be completed by dropping you at your hotel around 5:00pm--6:00pm.
