Itinerary

Day 1: Huanghuacheng to Xishuiyu (4hrs, 7km hiking)

Stop At: Great Wall at Huanghuacheng, 60 km (37 miles) N of Beijing, Beijing 102209 China
Meet you up at 8am at your hotel and then drive to Huanghuacheng. It will take 4 hours to hike on the Wall today.

Day 2: Jiankou-Mutianyu 10KM Great Wall hiking

Stop At: Xizhazi Ecological Sightseeing Garden, Huairou, Beijing, China
1. Breakfast at the same local guesthouse.

2. Check out and drive for Jiankou Great Wall. (driving for 40 min).

3. Begin to hike.

4. Get down from Mutianyu and drive for about 20 min to a local restaurant.

5. Lunch.

Day 3: Gubeikou to Jinshanling (5 hrs, 7km hiking)

Stop At: The Great Wall of Gubeikou, Gubeikou Town, Beijing 101508 China
1. Breakfast at the same local guesthouse.

2. Begin to hike. After the last tower at Gubeikou, it is a closed and forbidden part for military base on the Great Wall, and you need to walk along the small path in the mountain.

3. When you arrive at Jinshanling, you'll walk along the Great Wall from outside for some while and then get on the Wall at one certain tower.

4. Get down the Great Wall from Jinshanling from middle gate.

5. Lunch at a local restaurant nearby. After lunch, drive back to the same guesthouse at Gubeikou.

6. Dinner at the guesthouse.

Day 4: Jinshanling to Simatai West (3 hrs, 6km hiking)

Stop At: Jinshanling Great Wall, Chengde Shi, Luanping County 068250 China
1. Breakfast at the same guesthouse.

2. Check out after breakfast and drive to the entrance (middle gate) of Jinshanling Great Wall (driving - 30 min).

3. Begin to hike from the middle gate of Jinshanling Great Wall to the east gate (Simatai West).

4. After hiking, we'll drive back to the city and have the last meal (lunch) - a hotpot in a traditional Chinese restaurant.

5. Drop-off at your centrally located hotel in Beijing or PEK airport.
