Private Beijing Tour: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace

In the morning, your guide and driver will wait for you in your downtown Beijing hotel lobby.
Depart from the hotel in the air-conditioned vehicle at 8:00 am and head to the first destination of the day,
Tiananmen Square. It is the largest city square in the world locating at the very heart of Beijing. It is the place where Chairman Mao announced the establishment of People’s Republic of China, and the venue where massive parades took place. Strolling around the square, you will gain insight into the modern history of China as your guide provides you with commentary.
 
Proceed to the
Forbidden City, the world’s largest and best-preserved palace complex. Twenty-four emperors had lived and exercised their supreme power from there. See imperial architectural works and sumptuous treasures as you hear several anecdotes about the luxurious life of Chinese royal families.
Later, move on to the
Summer Palace, one of the most famous imperial gardens in China and arguably the largest of its kind so far in the world. After your tour of the gardens, head back to your accommodations for a 4:30-5:00 pm arrival.
