Your private English-speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up at 8 am in the lobby of your Beijing city hotel. Drive 45 minutes to the Summer Palace. Then your friendly tour guide will get you the entrance ticket, accompany you to walk around in the beautiful imperial garden and tell you the history. You can see the Kunming Lake with Longevity Hill, the government building, the Garden of Harmonious and Interests (Garden in the Garden), the places where the royal family members lived before, walk along the Long Corridor to see the Marble Boat. Spend around 2 to 2.5 hours to discover the beautiful garden.
Have lunch at a nice local restaurant according to your request.
Then go to visit the famous Tian'anmen Square. Your guide will tell you the history of the surrounding buildings at the Square and help you to take a memorable photo there. Walk directly to the Forbidden City. You will visit the three main Halls for the government administration in the Front Court and the living quarters at the Inner Palace. Relax at the Imperial Garden at the back of the Forbidden City. Spend around 2.5 hours to 3 hours to enjoy the Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City.
Drop you back to your hotel approximately 4:30pm after the tour.
