Our experience in Beijing was wonderful and it was mostly due to our tour guide Shan Shan! From the very first day she took amazing care of us. We were able to see all the sights we wanted to see, there was flexibility, we ate at some amazing restaurants...Shan Shan is extremely knowledgeable, kind, SOOOO FUNNY, and truly gives of herself to her guests. She made sure every aspect of our trip was taken care of and went above and beyond our expectations. By far an exceptional guide! AND Beijing is a city not to be missed if nothing else for its rich history.

We were in Beijing for 6 days and used 3 of them to basically cover everything you'd want to see with this Sightseeing package. The key to any good sightseeing venture is for it to be informative with history, culture and significance; for it to be convenient in a crowded city like Beijing; and for it to be good value for money so you don' have to spend all your time booking tickets and waiting in lines. This was all of that plus more. We had a wonderful tour guide in Dana, a young worldly traveler herself, and she knew all the history you could ask. Unlike some tours we took in Asia, her English was perfect. They also provided a spacious van which was a lifesaver for getting around, all the water we could drink, and knew all the tips and tricks on where to park, walk and get picked up. They also accommodated us with really good restaurants to eat great lunches at over those three days. We also had wonderful conversations on topics like educational systems, social security systems, recent events, some politics and religion and just life in general in China compared to other countries. It was all so informative and even my teenage kids learned a lot from Dana. She was great at having all the tickets in advance, getting us through lines quickly, knowing exactly where to go, where to stop, where to get photos and even which bathrooms would be the best to use. It was a life saver given we were a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Depending on what we had planned for the day the days would start at either 7:30 or 8:30 and we would typically get back to the hotel around 4pm. It's a lot to get in to a day so on one of our free days we knocked off the Zoo prior to the tour since that would require a lot of walking around and time to see. We also shortened one day by knocking off one of the neighborhood tours as many of the craft/souvenir neightborhoods are essentially the same. I would highly recommend using WikiBeijing as they are highly organized, knowledgeable and speak very clear and good English. In terms of value for money, I don't think you can beat it and you certainly can't organize the days like they did and get everything in for you. Highly Recommended!

I recently traveled to Beijing with my two young adult children. Booking the tour was easy the choices we were given included all the sights and activities we wanted. It was great having a private driver and English-speaking tour guide Angie was excellent. I received a text the day I arrived confirming pickup at our hotel and all went well from that point on. Angie was an informative guide we could ask her anything about the City, monuments or activities. She shared with us insights and suggestion on local places to eat and shop and her recommendation to Da Dong for authentic Peking Duck was spot on! She took us to a private luncheon near the Mutianyu Great Wall no Subway sandwich for us and accompanied us to another lunch where we enjoyed traditional hot pot. On our third and final day, we were a bit fatigued and had some bad weather snow! so she modified the day's activities per our request which we appreciated. I would highly recommend Angie and WikiBeijing to anyone wanting a comprehensive, safe, informative 3-day tour of Beijing.

This tour was amazing!! There are so many places to see so we selected the custom combo tour through WikiBeijing. The booking process was very easy and the variety of sights was wonderful. There was something for everyone in our group of six. This was our itinerary: Mutianyu Great Wall, Tian’anmen Square and Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Dragon Boat, Dingling Tomb and Sacred Way, Temple of Heaven, Beijing Zoo, Lama Temple, 798 Art District, Nanluoguxiang and Dashilar. From the first moment when we met Angie and Mr. Cao we were impressed. They were early for our scheduled pick up, which is always a relief for me. In fact, they were there early every day. The traffic in Beijing city is beyond words. Mr. Cao navigated us safely to and from every destination and was there patiently waiting as we finished with each sight. Angie and Mr. Cao were in perfect sync and the three days of ten sights was a huge task in which they executed perfectly! The small bus was very spacious, well maintained and drove very well and they provided water at all the right moments! Angie was so gracious with her time as well as patient with the varying speeds and interests of our group. Her knowledge of the Beijing and Chinese history was fantastic. Her English is wonderful and she is so personable and enjoyable to be around. The facts and statistics she knows are very informative and current. She helped us with dinner reservations and pointed us towards all the best local restaurants and shops throughout Beijing. As we shared with her our afternoon and evening plans she helped us with the Metro and tips for the train station during Spring Holiday and so much more. By the end of our three days with Angie it felt like we were with family. She will forever have a special place in our hearts and we will definitely request Angie again for our next trip to China.
