Private Tour: Huanghuacheng Water Wall with Cruise to Summer Palace

Meet your guide at 7:30am and drive about 2 hours to see the Great Wall at Huanghuacheng, a section of the Wall located in Huairou District, about 70km north of downtown Beijing. It is one of the most ruined sections of the Great Wall in Beijing and connects to Badaling Great Wall in the west and Mutianuyu Great Wall in the east. The Great Wall at Huanghuacheng was built from 1404 to 1592 and divided into three parts by a reservoir. You will cross the dam first then take a boat to the small island which is the best location to appreciate the beauty of the Great Wall combines with water. Walk another 15 minutes to cross the Ming Chestnut Orchard to get on the actual Wall. After 1-2 hours hiking on the Wall, you will take a speed boat for few minutes to leave Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall.
Lunch will be served in a fancy Chinese restaurant, Dazhaimen. It is a place with traditional Chinese decoration and flavor. 
Note: The boats from Purple Bamboo Park to Summer Palace are closed for upgrading from September 6, 2018. Your will be offered alternative option in driving along part of the Imperial Waterway and ride an electrical boat inside the Summer Palace to have an in-depth tour of the Kunming Lake.
Drive back the city to embark on a canopy boat and take the scenic 40-minute cruise from Zizhuyuan Park along the Imperial Waterway to the South Gate of Summer Palace. The Imperial Water is also called Waterway of Empress Dowager Cixi, because she took it to Summer Palace 32 times in her lifetime. With a history of more than 700 years, it is the only waterway in Beijing that related to the imperial families. Altogether, 6 Qing Emperors, 1 Empress Dowager, over 100 empresses and concubines had taken a boat along it to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Beijing.
When you reach Summer Palace, instead of walking around the working and living quarters of the emperor, you will first walk 15 minutes then take a dragon boat to the Marble Boat, the iconic architecture in Summer Palace representing the stability and eternity of the Qing Dynasty. Most of the important sceneries like the Longevity Hill, 17 Arch Bridge, South Lake Island and Kuoru Pavilion could be seen when you are relaxing on the boat.
After walking for another 10 minutes, you will take another small boat to Suzhou Street, which was used by the emperor to enjoy shopping as a commoner. The street is an imitation of the famous water towns in the south of China.
Then relax on the way back your hotel.
