Private Day Tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and HuTong from Beijing

You will be picked up at 9am in your hotel lobby by your private guide and driver. You will be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Take a leisurely stroll around the grand site and listen as the guide explains the historical and cultural significance of the square and other impressive structures in the vicinity.

Your guide will then escort you across the square for a tour of the Forbidden City. The ancient palace complex was home to 24 emperors and served as the political center of China for over five centuries. The well-preserved, magnificent halls will take you back in time to the glory days of imperial China. After visiting the Forbidden City, if the weather permits, you can get a panoramic view of the Forbidden City from Jingshan Hill in Jingshan Park.

You will then move into the Hutong area by rickshaw. This portion of the tour allows you to gain insight into a traditional neighborhood of Beijing and get to know how local people live their daily life as you travel through the narrow alleys.

Your tour will conclude when you are returned to your hotel at approximately 5pm.
