About this activity

Your friendly tour guide will meet you at your hotel in the afternoon, and you will start your romantic evening Simatai Great Wall trip. After a 2-hour drive, you will first arrive at the Gubei Water Town, and you will walk thru water town and take cable car (inclusive) to the Wall. There are only 10 watch towers open to the public, and it is fully decorated by lights at night.

The water town at night is indeed mesmerizing, and you will find both water town and the wall merge into one splendid view. Don't miss out the the water dancing fountains at Wangjinglou.

Then sit down to enjoy a decent dinner at a beautiful night in Water Town.

After three hours of visiting, you will be transferred back to the hotel in Beijing downtown.

It was really special to see the Wall lit up at night, and the water town was a memorable experience--quite chilly in winter, with many parts of the park closed, but this tour would be especially magical in warmer months. Our guide was very warm and kind. We cherish this memory.
