About this activity
This tour start at 16:00. After meeting your tour guide, you will travel by private vehicle to start your Beijing experience. Your day will start with an unique shopping experience in the famous Pearl Market. Receive tips from your guide on which vendors to visit for specific items and how to find the perfect souvenirs to take home.

Next, stop for the Peking Duck dinner at a local restaurant. Peking Duck is originally from Beijing, which is the capital of Mainland China. It is prepared with a fruit tree, so it has a fruity flavor and its skin is very crispy. You also eat it in a very special way. First you need to use a special bread. Then, you can start your tasty meal.

The duck is divided into three parts and made in three different ways:

The first way is the most popular one. The meat is selected from the most flavorful part of the duck and is boned. Green onions and dressing are added to make it savory and a little sweet. It is served with thin crepes. You just spread the dressing on the crepe, add some green onions, and roll it up. The second way is to use the part of the duck with less meat. It can be fried with garlic, chilies, ginger or onions. The final and third way allows you to make use of the entire duck. You can make soup with cabbage and the duck meat with bones.

Once you have finished your dinner, you will watch the brightest and best Beijing Kung Fu show. The show time is between 7:30pm to 8:40pm.

After the show, your guide will bring you back to your hotel in Beijing.

My 2.5-year old son enjoyed it very much! The Peking Duck dinner wasn't as ceremonious as I expected. I thought they'd show how they prepare it but instead our tour guide showed how they eat it at the table. Our tour guide Lucy was lovely! She was very sweet. While my husband and I was shopping at the Pearl Market, she offered to walk around with my son and played with him while we get our shopping done. Please ask for Lucy!
