Small Group 4-Hour Gourmet Beijing Foodie Tour on Bike

You will start your tour by a short orientation and sign a waiver. Following
your guide and riding a bicycle , pass through a long Hutong(narrow alley)
where you see the local neighborhood --- The old houses , local people shopping
on the street .
Get into another alley after a left turn . Find the first kind of food of the
tour --- Xian Bing , this is a kind of pancake with forcemeat inside
Pass by the presidential courtyard , cross the widest city street --- Chang An
avenue , go into Hutong again . The Hutong is even narrower and zigzag .
Eventually , arrive at a shopping street . In a cake shop ,find two kinds food:
1. Lu Dagun (literally,donkey rolling) --- a kind of dessert made of
glutinous rice and bean paste. No worries, it has nothing to do with donkey.
2. Ma Hua, a kind of fried wheat-flour-made cake, sweet and crispy.
Afterwards, heading east to Qian Men shopping street, leave bikes at the
entrance of the old shopping street and walk in, you will pass by the first
cinema of China, see the most famous old Chinese medicine pharmacy in Beijing,
and an old silk shop .
On the street , get another Beijing snack -- Sugar coated hawthorn which is
very popular in winter .
At last pick up the last snack -- Beijing yogurt , a unique taste and texture
makes it stand out from any other yogurt.
Pick up your bike and pass by the Tian'anmen square .The guide lead you to the
nearest subway station or end the tour at anywhere .
