Pass By: The Great wall of Jiankou-The Great Wall Alternative, Beijing China

Your profession hiking guide and driver will pick you up at departure point-Westin Hotel. Then drive more than about 2 hours to Xishanzi village in Huairou county. We will start our hiking to western direction from Jiankou Great Wall.

Jiankou is translated as "Arrow Nock" in English, since the shape of the mountains where the walll was built is like an arrow with the collpased ridge opening as its arrow nock. The main section of the wall was built along the ridges with steep cliffs on each side. Therefore, you have to prepare for a good fitness and great care if you climb this section.

Walk across the village and hike for about 1 hour, then you will approach the Due North Tower of Jiankou Great Wall. As climbing the tower, look towards the west, you will have a breathtaking view of Jiankou section. When look to the east side, you will see the Niujijiaobian, which is amazing.

We will enjoy our lunch box on the Great Wall. What a unique experience.

After lunch, we keep hiking to West section of Mutianyu Great Wall.

15:00 At the end there is a cable car stop, you can choose cable car by yourself or continue hiking with us.

16:30 After finishing hiking tour, we will take shuttle bus back to station and then drive back to Beijing.

18:00 Arrival Beijing.
