Stop At: Al Mansouri Mosque, Tripoli, Lebanon

Al Mansouri Mosque or The great Mosque is the most important, largest and the oldest mamluk monument in the city of Tripoli , after the conquest of Tripoli by the mamluks , sultan achraf Khalil the son of sultan qualaoun built the Mosque over the ruins of the old crusader church Marie De La Tour.
the mosque contains Islamic mamluk architecture as long as some western architecture from the remains church.
The 700 years old Minbar (Pulpit) still stands inside the mosque.

Stop At: Citadel Saint Gilles (Qal'at Sinjil), El Amir Fakhreddine, Tripoli Lebanon

The largest citadel in Lebanon , built over many eras , initially by the Arabs , then the crusaders by raymond of saint gilles , to mamluks and finally by the ottomans.This is a PARADISE for everyone else who loves history.

Stop At: The Clock Tower, Tripoli Lebanon

The Tal square was built by the ottomans and was considered the downtown of the ottoman city , the Tal clock tower situated in the center of the square was a gift from the sultan Abd El-Hamid the second for the people of tripoli, and considered nowadays one of the landmarks of the city.
Visitors will have a walk and enjoy the ottomans and french monuments and have a coffee in one of the oldest coffee shops in town.

Stop At: Khan Al-Khayyatin, Tripoli Lebanon

one of fanciest Mamluk khan in Tripoli where you see colorful textile and astonishing white arcades built upon an old byzantine or crusaders structure.
A perfect place for traditional textile.

One of the oldest and only covered souk (Market place) in Tripoli.
there we can find ancient granite columns historically imported from Aswan Egypt which were once a part of an ancient structure.

The biggest Hammam in Tripoli Built 700 years ago , now an open museum for visitors, a special place where you find a blend between crusaders and mamluk architecture.the place is a piece of art decorated with colorful walls.
visitors will enjoy a walk through a well preserved mamluk bath.
