Petrovaradin Fortress is the second largest in Europe and it has a big historical significance. It was built for 88 years by remarkable names of the Austrian army's military architecture as almost indelible. Some archaeological research shows that certain forms of human settlements on the "Petrovaradin fortress" existed even before the unbelievable 15 or even 19 millenniums!

Below this area of 112 hectares is a tunnel network, or "catacombs", including underground military gallery, in a total length of about 20 kilometers, which is an interesting attraction for many explorers, tourists, and casual visitors. Stop At: Sremski Karlovci Serbia

Sremski Karlovci is a vibrant town on the slopes of Fruška Gora, near Novi Sad. This open-air museum is famous for unique dessert wines that were favored by the court even in the 1700s. Karlovci has entered the pages of European history in 1699 when the treaty was signed thus ending the Great war between Austria and Turkey. On that spot, a century later, Karlovci’s Catholics have built the Lady of Peace chapel which stands proudly today, making it a popular tourist attraction. Apart from being the spiritual center, full of churches, museums, monuments, Karlovci has been a city well ahead of its time and a meeting point of cultural elites and poets. The first gymnasium ever to be founded in Serbia had been right there, in the city center. There is a legend which claims that whoever drinks from the Four Lions fountain located in the city center will surely visit Karlovci again.
