About this activity
This exceptional adventure tour takes you to see Belize from the air & land as few people have seen it. You will enjoy a city tour highlighting the many attractions of Belize City as you travel to the heliport from your hotel. Once at the heliport base you will be given a short safety briefing and board the helicopter. After leaving the heliport, you will fly over the City of Belize and be amazed by the beautiful views.
Next your flight takes you into the tranquil Caribbean Sea as you explore the Drown Cayes & Swallow Caye Wildlife Sanctuary which is a protected area for the West Indian Manatees so keep your eyes opened for you may be one of the lucky few to spot a manatee.
As your flight takes you to the north view the historical site where the battle of St George’s Caye took place in 1798. Continue your flight over the exotic barrier reef, the second largest reef system in the world, the Belize’s Barrier Reef, stretches for more than 185 miles along the coast and extending 50 miles offshore, the barrier reef is a true treasure among the coral reef communities.
As you soar over the Gallows Point Reef you will be taken a back by the extravagant beauty of this coral reef system. But don’t forget to keep you eye open for dolphins, sting rays and even sharks as you might be one of the few to spot them. As your flight diverts to the west enjoy the view of the many islands that surrounds. Most of them made up of Mangroves which are very essential to the marine habitats.
The tour will take you on a second-to-none journey to explore the best of Belize’s Barrier Reef. Soaring high above the barrier reef, incredible views of cayes en route, you will marvel at vistas seen only by few!
On the flight back, you can relax and enjoy the astonishing aerial views of the coastline and Belize City as you are soon to land at your private Heliport at the Belize City, Cisco Base.
Once on the ground you will be able to take pictures of the helicopter with your pilot. Then you will enjoy a tour highlighting the downtown area of Belize City and all its historical sites on your way back to your hotel.

- Due to weight / balance of the aircraft, total maximum weight for 4 passengers is 750 lbs on Bell 206 Jet Ranger and for 6 passengers 1,300 lbs on Bell 407.
