About this activity

You will be picked up just outside the Cruise Terminal in Belize City. From there, your tour guide will be giving you interesting and informative background information about the tropical paradise of Belize. There will be many photo opportunities as you drive for 30 minutes around the half of Belize City before making a stop at the rum factory.

At the Traveler's Liquor Heritage Center you can learn about the country’s rum origins and gaze through the show window to watch the rum being distilled. There are unlimited free samples of one exhibited rum. All other rum/wine costs 1 USD for two shots.

After the rum factory, you will hop back into your transport and cross into the south side of Belize City for 40 minutes. This is one of the busiest parts of town highlighting the daily lives of the locals. We will explain the economy and see some of the oldest buildings in the Yarborough area of the city.

The tour was nice. However, the car did not have air conditioner and the brakes appeared to be going out. Didn't feel entirely safe. Mr Brown was very accommodating and knowledgable of the area.

Cardinal our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Never stopped at rum factor, but no one cared! .

This tour was changed by lack of passengers due to be Sunday. But we went to a Natural life reserve with monkeys, and iguanas instead and anyway was extrimely interesting to see how they live clase to the monkeys that go down the trees so that we can feed them. Very nice experience

This was the worst trip ever. A beat up old yellow school bus with torn seats and a moldy air conditioner that dripped on people. I frankly didn't want to hear the tour guides personal life about how many wives he has and the ratio of so many women to men. It was repulsive
