Cave Tubing Adventure from Belize City

Once our guest are pick up either from the hotel, the tourism village or water taxi terminal in Belize City by 8am, they will then be transported in a very nice and comfortable air condition van to the Cave Branch National Park for this great adventure tour Cave Tubing. This park located just 37 miles west from Belize City will be about an hour drive. You will be accompanied by a very knowledgeable and trained driver/guide who will be providing valuable information of Belize as you are driven through the countryside. Upon arrival at Nohoch Che'en the official name of the cave branch National Park, your guide will secure your entrance ticket and then you get a chance to use the spacious and clean changing/rest rooms facility for you to get into your swim wears. Your equipment will also be taken care of by your guide. These are your headlight, helmets, life jackets and your tubes. After changing and getting your equipment you will then start your 30 minutes walk through the well kept pebble trails of the park under the canopy of the rain forest along with your tour guide. As you take your time hiking, your guide will be delivering more information about the rain forest and showing you some of the important plants and trees with medicinal properties used as herbal remedies. This walk ends at the entrance of the cave system for the tubing part of this amazing activity. You then gear up with your helmets, headlights, life jackets whilst your guide attach your tubes creating a tube chain. Once everybody is seated on their tubes you are then slowly taken down the river with your guide leading the way into this impressive cave system, a natural amusement park which only could have been built by mother nature. As you traverse through this underground river inside this limestone cave system for about 40 minutes you will have to use your imagination as you will get to see several rock formations, drip stones, stalactites and stalagmite of different shapes and sizes. These will all be pointed out to you by your cave guide. You may also get to see a few insect/ fruits bats that lives inside holes of the cave ceiling. Once exiting this incredible cave system you continue to float down the open river for another 20 minuts as you make your way back to the starting point at the rope where the hike began. This completes your cave tubing tour, you then make your way back to the parking lot and the restroom to change into your dry clothing and get ready to return back to Belize City.
