Day 1: Visit to Altun Ha Mayan Temple & Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che'en (Caves Branch)

Stop At: Altun Ha, Rockstone Pond Village Belize
Altun Ha is located 31 miles (50 kilometers) from Belize City, Altun Ha, Mayan for "rock stone", was once one of the wealthiest Mayan Empire in the Americas. Famous for its Jade head, Altun Ha boast two plazas and thirteen structures. Here, the rich tombs are further indication that the elite enjoyed an exotic life. This site dates back to around 200BC. Construction at Altun Ha lasted to around AD 250. The erections of these magnificent temples are strong indication that this population was large and sophisticated.

Stop At: Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve, Frank Eddie Village, Cayo, Belize, Belize City Belize
Follow a trail through dry cave systems and encounter stalagmites and Cave tube the Caves Branch River through the chain of connected cave systems, where over head Stalactites are covered with shining gypsum. The refreshing cool water, picturesque sink hole, flora, fauna and water fall makes for this activity to be Belize's number one inland adventure.

Our tubes are comfortable and have a netted bottom. The hike in the forest complements the tour so we take our time during this leg of the adventure.

The terrain is mostly flat rocky path, visit our face book page for some pictures. We tailor our pace to suit your needs during the 30 min hike. The vehicle serves as your locker room at the park, changing and rest rooms available at the park as well.

Cave Tubing tour is approx. 5 to 6 hours from the point of pick up so we have tons of time to explore the caves. It is a 45 min to 1 hour drive from Belize City to the National Park.

You will have a vehicle and guide and you will get to see the country side, rain forest and the cave.

Day 2: Visit to the Empire of Lamanai & traverse the Belize River ecosystem

Stop At: Lamanai Archaeological Reserve, Belize
Lamanai, Mayan for submerged crocodile is situated in the Orange Walk District. This is one of the few Mayan sites that still goes by it original name. This site is famous for it crocodile logos and lime stone mask on its principal temple.

Lying on the Banks of the New River Lagoon, Lamanai offers a firsthand view of Belize’s river ecosystem. Rich in both flora and fauna, it is not unusual to spot a crocodile taking in some rays on the river bank or one of the many orchids sitting in plain view as you curse by.

This 1 hour boat ride is by itself a magnificent tour. Dating back to 900BC, this site occupies 1.13 square kilometers (.5 miles) of pristine rain forest. Temples at Lamanai are still some of the highest in the country. This site was once home to a wealthy population that formed a powerful empire.

Day 3: MAYAN CITY OF XUNANTUNICH AND CAVE SYSTEM OF ACTUN TUNICHIL MUKNAL

Stop At: Xunantunich, Belize
A full day activity - Xunantunich is located to the west of the country. This site boast the 2nd tallest temple in Belize. Rich in history, visiting this site would give you a great feel of the county and another taste of authentic Belizean cuisine. Two hour drive to Succotz and Ferry across the river to get to the site, picturesque view from atop the high temple of neighboring Guatemala.

Stop At: Actun Tunichil Muknal, Tea Kettle Village Belize
Actun Tunichil Muknal, also known locally as ATM, is a cave in Belize, near San Ignacio, Cayo District, notable as a Maya archaeological site that includes skeletons, ceramics, and stoneware. There are several areas with skeletal remains in the main chamber
