Stop At: Caves Branch Outpost, C.A Mile 37 George Price Highway, 7 Mile Franks Eddy Road, Belize
Your adventure begins with a short trek through the rainforest. Along the way, your expert tour guide will highlight medicinal plants of cultural significance as well as the geology of the area and cave system. Once at the cave entrance, your prepared kayak awaits. The journey begins with a short paddle through cave 4 leading to cave 3. Cave 3 is elaborate and magnificent, a forest of stalactites descend from the roof of the cave creating an atmosphere of enchantment. Cave features still ahead include underground cathedrals, secret chambers, limestone cenotes and sunken cascades. Fruit and Sack Winged Bats are often encountered at the exit of the cave. The tour ends with a 25-minute open river paddle to the Crystal River Beach Club.
